A message from Collecticon

This effort is the culmination of over 25 years of interaction with, observation of, and validation from the fandom that has emerged around our favorite brand, The Transformers.

Many of us have been captivated by the creativity, aesthetics, story-telling, and of course, the marketing of this brand that can spark joy and excitement in curious minds of all ages. Whether you are a life-long follower, or a new recruit, there will be a space for you to carve out amongst these robot visitors from the stars. Collecticon is a platform that is meant to co-exist within the online ecosystem of tools that have evolved since the early days of the internet and provide an experience that has been lacking all this time: true collection tracking.

It's going to take us a while to get fully operational, but to showcase the potential of the data structure and features that have been pain-stakingly constructed to fit the multi-faceted information about these toys, we've fast-tracked an almost-complete list of a few toylines to start.

We will need your help to get us further, and it's going to take a lot of time to do this right, but that's our goal: To do it right – not just quick. We hope you will support this effort and will participate. Even if you can't be a contributor, simply poking around will suffice, and as a big blue friend once said, “See what you can see.”
